I hadn’t been back to South East Asia in 5 years, so Pirate and I took a two-week trip through Singapore and Malaysia, and binged on all manner of glorious Malay, Indian, Baba-nyonya cuisine. I continued on to the Philippines for a couple more weeks, to reconnect with old friends, and continue my beach-bum agenda.
